5 Hacks To Prevent Business Burn-Out

Starting a business can be a bit overwhelming. Keeping up with all the tasks in your business can be a little tricky. Have you been losing focus or are you burnt out? If so, here are 5 tips to prevent business burn-out!

If you are trying to do it all by yourself there will come a time when you will feel that this is too much to handle. The trick is to get organized and automate as much as you can!

Select 1 Day A Week To Set-Up Your Agenda

Find that one day a week when you can sit down and plan out your weekly agenda. Use a project management tool to keep up with your tasks and make sure it links to your calendar. Use a calendar to time block for every task you need to complete each week. If you have a visual plan it helps with lowering your stress level while you are completing tasks.

Here is my The Business CEO Hub to help out with this one. This board is all set up and ready to go! This will help you start getting your business in line.

Automate Your Emails

Schedule one time a day to check your business email then close it. Your business email can become a distraction to you during work hours.

Now, for email marketing select a system that works best for you and automate every email you can think of. There should be a sequence of emails from your welcome funnel to your where you going funnel (for the ones who unsubscribe).

This helps because once you have written and saved 1000 emails you will never have to do it again! Just copy and paste!

Schedule Meetings for 2 Days Out of the Week

For my service-based bosses schedule all of your client meetings and calls for only 2 days out of the week. This will give you some of your freedom back to work on different things for the rest of the week.

Automate Your Social Media Posts

There are a lot of social media platforms and a lot of social media scheduling platforms. Social media can get really overwhelming because you are going to want to be on all platforms so, you won't miss out on any opportunities. Trust me I know...because I am on all of them....lol!

However, to prevent overwhelm pick the two or three platforms that are working for you and focus on them. Choose a social media scheduling platform and schedule as many posts as you can. Make sure you stick with your marketing strategy while you are batching your content.

I know that this is a lot of work but once complete you will not have to worry about it for a few months.

Exercise

Now, if you are not into the exercise thing that is fine. However, as business owners, we tend to keep working and never take a moment for ourselves.

All I am saying is to take a 30-minute break for yourself every day. If you don't go for a walk at least get some lunch.......away from your desk!
